Contact & Connection Plan
AIM: The aim of this topic is to help you create a secure contacts list for the freedom community and organise your community into action groups within your local area (Cell). If things go wrong your top priority is to connect with your immediate community members and work together for safety and resources.
OVERVIEW: Freedom communities are groups based on local suburbs and LGAs. To help with the sharing of resources, information, and strategies the group should hold some basic member details.
For large LGAs or Freedom Communities, smaller groups of very close proximity can be set up called (Cells). They should be members that are within walking distance of each other.
All members should know each other’s location and an agreed meeting place should be nominated for emergency meet-ups.
PREREQUISITES:
Generally the Admin or assistant to the Admin of the group will organise a contacts list for the group. Anyone can perform the task they only need to have the tools to record member’s details. The template is in an Excel format but can be printed off and completed on paper.
IMPORTANT TIPS:
It’s important that the files with member contacts is not stored anywhere publicly, not shared or emailed. It is recommend that a single person with a secure computer setup completes the list and then prints out physical copies to share with members.
All members should have a physical copy of the list for emergencies.
